Making your newspaper file printable - Technical Guidelines

In order to print your file as a genuine newspaper, please observe the requirements in our Technical Guidelines. The guidelines provide important information on how to format your file for our online printing service. Get your PDF ready now:

• Page format: Set the page format in your print PDF to 280 mm x 400 mm.
• Font embedding: All fonts must be embedded in your file.
• Print space: Every newspaper has a narrow white border that is left empty when printing. The print space describes the maximum printable area of a newspaper. For small print runs, please set the print space to 251 mm x 370 mm.
• Image resolution: We recommend a minimum image resolution of 145 dpi. Photos in a lower resolution than this may appear grainy.
• Colour space for images: Images should be provided in an Apple or Adobe RGB colour space.
• Page order and upload: Please upload your file in PDF format and present each page as an individual page in the correct order.
